For each ZIP code and service category, we publish a ranked shortlist of the pros who actually serve that area, with their location, contact details, and, for licensed contractors, their verified California license. Every business is scored with one consistent method, so the ranking means the same thing whether you're searching one neighborhood or the next.

• Ranked on merit, not money. No business pays to appear here, and none can pay to rank higher. Ranking position is never for sale.
• License-verified. For licensed trades we publish the contractor's CSLB license number so you can confirm it yourself at cslb.ca.gov.
• Real coverage only. We publish a page only where enough qualifying pros actually serve the area, so there are no thin or padded listings.
• Auditable data. Every listing keeps its source, so our facts can be checked.
